Fuel Surcharge

Keeping our pricing fair, transparent, and aligned with the market.

Fuel is one of the most significant and volatile costs in same-day courier transport. To ensure we can continue to deliver reliably across the UK, we apply a fuel surcharge linked directly to the average UK diesel price.

This allows us to:

  • Keep base transport rates competitive
  • Adjust fairly as fuel prices rise or fall
  • Maintain service quality without sudden pricing changes

How It Works

Our fuel surcharge is based on the average UK diesel price, using publicly available data from RAC Fuel Watch

The surcharge is applied as a percentage of the delivery charge (excluding VAT and any additional services such as waiting time, tolls or specialist handling).

It is reviewed weekly and updated every Tuesday at 10:00am, with the latest position published on this page.

What It Applies To

The fuel surcharge applies to:

  • All UK and European same-day / dedicated courier deliveries, unless otherwise agreed in writing

It does not apply to:

  • Waiting time or other accessorial charges
  • Tolls, ferries or third-party costs
  • Specialist services (unless stated)

For customers operating under contracted rates, account-specific pricing or separate commercial terms, the agreed terms will take precedence where applicable.
